The first image on this page is a GRAPH

on a page about memes, the first image appears in the second subsection of the article, and it is a GRAPH. A boring one, too. What happened to taste? ~2025-43875-80 (talk) 16:20, 5 January 2026 (UTC)[]

In the History section, the phrase “the Chinese social network TikTok” is used. This should be changed to just, “the social network TikTok,” as it being Chinese holds no meaning to the article and makes it seem anti-Chinese for some reason, as it’s just about memes.

Similarly, in the paragraph on NFTs in the copyright section, both the phrases “was used hundreds of times without permission” and “sell the original copy” are greatly misleading, and should be changed to “had attained widespread internet usage” and “sell a copy” instead. ↑ Reasoning: Saying ‘hundreds’ implies that the meme was far less popular than it was, and ‘without permission’ confers the idea that most memes reach their popularity with permission. In addition, the original copy of the image is a digital file. Because of how digital files work, unless you sell the device it was taken on, you’re selling a copy. I understand that the article is attempting to be impartial towards NFTs but it comes across as biased and, frankly, extremely misleading towards the matter at hand.
