FDA-approved mayonnaise...

I think it's important to point out that the FDA's requirements for "real" mayonnaise are substantially lower than in other parts of the world. To my knowledge, in Germany mayonnaise has to contain 80% of oil to be "real", while the FDA stipulates 60%.

With all due caution regarding a nondescript Youtube channel: it seems that, in addition, there are some more ways to skimp and save on ingredients in the US...
