"This is an example quote, optional quotation marks outside." This is an example quote with no quotation marks. Usually used like this. The quote will appear in green. Optional quotation marks go inside the curly brackets if they are part of the quote, outside if they are not. Quotation marks are usually not used with this template. The green text makes it clear that it is a quote.
