Please feel free to help us improve Ireland-related articles in Wikipedia!
I speak Irish but I am not able to accept requests for translations for the foreseeable future. However I don't live in Ireland (currently reside in London, UK).

Did the administrator* give weight to something to which he shouldn't have given weight?
Did the administrator omit to give weight to something to which he should have?
Did the administrator arrive at a decision so irrational that no reasonable administrator could have arrived at it?
*I am assuming for simplicity the person who deleted the page or closed the discussion is an administrator, although I am sure there is some corner case by which a non-administrator might be involved. The masculine should be construed as referring to both genders.
When the answer is no to all three, I will endorse the deletion.
I sometimes ask a follow-up question on a certain matter to the DRV nominator. When such a question is unanswered I will assume that the nominator has abandoned his request and will endorse the outcome by default.
My honour to bestow this Original Barnstar upon Stifle, for outstanding work on AfD, masses of incredibly sane and level-headed comment, devotion to Irish railway stations and generally because you deserve it. Deiziotalk 01:43, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
I award Stifle this barnstar for his efforts in strictly deleting thousands of pieces of unworthy content from Wikipedia.Blnguyen | rant-line 01:54, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Aprils fools day was a blast. Loads of users lightened up to have good old fashion fun. I want to thank you for taking part in editing this page in particular and even though I may not know you, embrace the same talk pages, or even edit with you in the near future, I'd like to award you this Barnstar for making Wikipedia a fun environment in which to contribute. Until next year. :) SynergeticMaggot (talk) 13:12, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
For the quick actions that you took on the 3RR template. It will now discourage less people and will definitely help with improving collaboration on Wikipedia! βPreceding unsigned comment added by Prashanthns (talk β’ contribs) 13:24, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Your wizard is an excellent idea, and was expertly created. I took advantage of this part to give you this award for such a creative idea. :) Great thinking! Acalamari 23:38, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
For consistently patrolling DRV and reminding users that conversations with deleting admins are encouraged before deletion review. And for notifying admins of DRV's that concern them. Jerrydelusional Β€ kangaroo 16:36, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
"The "What a Brilliant Idea!" Barnstar should be awarded to a user who figures out an elegant solution to a particularly burdensome bottleneck or problem, or who identifies a means to improve Wikipedia in a profound way."

The Barnstar of Peace is awarded to users who have helped to resolve, peacefully, conflicts on Wikipedia.
This barnstar is awarded to Stifle, for closing [withdrawing] an AfD when sources were found. An ability to compromise and negotiate is what wikipedia needs more in editors. You are a fine example of this. Thank you. Ikip (talk) 00:36, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
[re Michael Winner] Having reviewed the newspaper column in question, and all of your emails in OTRS relating to this situation, I hereby award you this Original Barnstar for exceptional kindness! Jimbo Wales (talk) 18:37, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
