Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, website, or role, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. If you are having trouble, you may want to try using the unblock wizard.

Before requesting a new username, check if it is still available. If the search says "There is no global account for [username]", the username is free to use.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the edit. Alexf(talk) 14:13, 16 June 2026 (UTC)[]

Request reason:
The following request was written through the unblock wizard. Can you explain, in your own words, why your edits were promotional?

I used the company name "Excaliburarmy" as my username, which violated Wikipedia's username policy. I had not made any edits yet, but I understand the username itself implied I was acting

on behalf of the company rather than as an individual contributor. What is your relationship with the subjects you have been editing about? I am responsible for content at Excalibur Army, a Czech defence company. Creating a Wikipedia article about the company is part of my professional responsibilities. If you are unblocked, what topic areas will you edit in?

I would like to create a neutral, encyclopaedic article about Excalibur Army and submit it through the Articles for Creation process for independent review. I am not looking to write promotional content – the company genuinely lacks a Wikipedia page and I want to fill that gap with factual, well-sourced

information for AI. Excaliburarmy (talk) 09:47, 17 June 2026 (UTC)[]

(Non-administrator comment) Hi there, can I advise you to read WP:BOSS and WP:PRPEOPLE? Being perfectly honest with you, the chances that your company will qualify for a Wikipedia article (see WP:NCORP for more) are extremely slim. The chances that you, as an employee, will be able to write a neutral article are even slimmer. You have been given a task that you are almost certainly not going to be able to complete, at least here on English Wikipedia. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but I really don't want you to waste your time and effort - and the time and effort of our volunteer editors - so please at least read through those links, talk to your boss, and maybe consider other platforms for your PR efforts. If you have questions after reading the linked pages please feel free to ask, and someone (maybe me, maybe another editor) will no doubt respond. Meadowlark (talk) 17:49, 17 June 2026 (UTC)[]
There is already an article about the parent company, Czechoslovak Group. Subsidiary companies do not automatically qualify for their own separate articles, because notability is not inherited from the parent company.
I looked at the deleted draft and I can say with 100% certainty that it would never have been accepted as it was written. Your sources could not establish this company as independently notable; you cited either the company's/parents own websites (which are primary sources), trade publications (which frequently have a promotional tone), and Wikipedia itself (a self-published source).
Since your superiors have tasked you with writing an article about the company that employs you, I suggest that you and they read Wikipedia:When your boss tells you to edit Wikipedia. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 18:07, 17 June 2026 (UTC)[]
