Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to George Harrison, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Minor edits

[edit]

"Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Read Help:Minor edit for more information. Sundayclose (talk) 16:00, 6 December 2025 (UTC)[]

@Sundayclose Hello. I only reversed the order of two photographs according to the chronological order in the Ringo Starr article, so I didn't consider it a big change. Josedm (talk) 19:22, 6 December 2025 (UTC)[]
That's not a typo correction or reverting obvious vandalism. When you state that an edit is minor, you're saying that there's zero chance anyone would disagree with your edit. You may consider moving images minor, but that doesn't mean everyone will agree with you. It was not a minor edit. Let me suggest that you never mark an edit as minor. You can never go wrong doing that. Sundayclose (talk) 20:38, 6 December 2025 (UTC)[]
Okay, I'll avoid marking future edits as minor here. But could I please put the photos back in the order I had them in? Of course, without marking it as a minor edit. Josedm (talk) 00:31, 7 December 2025 (UTC)[]
Why? You didn't bother to leave an edit summary. Sundayclose (talk) 01:18, 7 December 2025 (UTC)[]
Then I'll leave a summary. Josedm (talk) 18:39, 8 December 2025 (UTC)[]

George Harrison lead

[edit]

I'm afraid even if he is a beatle it is still long for a lead in. By all means expand further on the page. Greenpark79 (talk) 18:19, 30 January 2026 (UTC)[]

Featured Article status of The Long and Winding Road under review

[edit]

I have nominated The Long and Winding Road for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets the featured article criteria, or help improve the article. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" in regard to the article's featured status (see review instructions).
