Question about revert on "Dripping Springs, Texas"
[edit]Hi Tedder, I saw you reverted my edit regarding the town's founding history because I marked it as a minor change. You’re right—adding a new subhead and factual content is definitely a substantive edit. I’m relatively new to this, and I'll make sure to leave the "minor" box unchecked for content additions going forward. I’m planning to re-add those founding facts with proper citations now. Thanks for the catch. TF Requests (talk) 06:41, 7 March 2026 (UTC)[]
- Thanks so much! Many people ignore minor edits, so they can really get used for evil. tedder (talk) 23:50, 8 March 2026 (UTC)[]
About use of image " The Arecibo Telescope during demolition process, December 2021"
[edit]Good morning I would like to know if the use of the image "The Arecibo Telescope during demolition process, December 2021" is free even outside of Wikipedia, subject to the CC license terms. 4.0 International. I'd like to use it for an article I'm writing for a popular Substack newsetter on astronomical topics. The newsletter is currently free to subscribe. Thank you ~2026-16284-92 (talk) 19:51, 14 March 2026 (UTC)[]
- Hey there! That image can be used anywhere, as long as it has attribution ("tedder, wikimedia commons"), and any alterations are also shared. Put a link here to your Substack, I always like to see it.
- Incidentally I chartered a helicopter there on my honeymoon because I've always wanted to see it. tedder (talk) 04:27, 16 March 2026 (UTC)[]
