When I first came to the Wikiversity site about a month ago I was confused about what was going on here. Since then I've been editing and expanding the Newcomers page as I've made discoveries.
Right now I'm trying to learn something of the range of Learning Projects (Courses) on offer and share my discoveries on a "Featured Pages" page — examples for newcomers showing the range of what's possible here.
I'd greatly appreciate links to good Learning Projects in Engineering & Technology (or elsewhere). I'd especially welcome your commentaries on:
- how they use the site to teach
- how many students have been attracted, where they're coming from, whether they're following through
- what's notable about each course sited
- how well (or not) the wiki software and Wikiversity delivers an environment to conduct learning
