Metzgeria furcata (Forked Veilwort) is a species of liverworts in the family Metzgeriaceae. They are native to Paraná, Amazônia, Minas Gerais, ParaíBa, GoiáS, Santa Catarina, Cerrado, Rio De Janeiro, Espirito Santo, Mata Atlântica, Pernambuco, Rio Grande Do Sul, Bahia, Ceará, SãO Paulo, and Acre (Brazil).
