Jennette was raised in the LDS (Mormon) church.
Jennette was raised by her parents Debra and Mark McCurdy. However, Mark is not her biological father. Her biological father, Andy Martin (Andrew Morgan Martin), is a jazz trombonist and Los Angeles studio player, who appears on the soundtrack for Star Wars and other films.
Jennette’s patrilineal line can be traced to Hugh Martine, who was born, c. 1693, in Scotland, to James Martine and Jennet Scott.
Jennette’s biological paternal grandfather was David Glen Martin (the son of Edward Alexander Martin and Helen M. Maharg). David was born in Delta, Delta County, Colorado. Edward was born in Songer Township, Clay, Illinois, the son of Frederic Clyde Martin and Carrie B. Griffin, whose father was from Asterby, Lincolnshire, England. Jennette’s great-grandmother Helen was born in Grand Junction, Mesa, Colorado, the daughter of Harvey Earl Maharg and Mary Agnes Davenport, whose own paternal grandmother was born in Westmorland, England, and whose own maternal grandmother was born in Ireland, with roots in County Cork and County Kerry.
Jennette’s biological paternal grandmother was Lani Nadine Morgan (the daughter of Franklin Turner Morgan and Ada Rose Boothe). Franklin was born in Millcreek, Utah, the son of Isaac Morgan, whose paternal grandfather was born in Preston, Lancashire, England, and whose maternal grandparents were from Armagh, Northern Ireland and Dublin, Ireland, respectively; and of Annie Louise Bell, whose father was Scottish and whose mother was from Essex, England. Jennette’s great-grandmother Ada was born in Honeyville, Utah, the daughter of Nathaniel Boothe and Eunice Jane Wickham, whose own parents were English.
Jennette’s legal father Mark McCurdy is the son of Merle Eugene McCurdy and Faye/Fay Gertrude Lapayne/Payne. Merle was born in Minnesota, the son of Ernest R. McCurdy and Johanna Hersema/Heersema. Faye was the daughter of Dean LaVern LaPayne/Payne and Gertrude Ellen Cronin.
Jennette’s maternal grandfather was Roland Joseph LaBeaf (the son of Earl LaBeaf and Josephine Biscotto/Biscotti). Roland was born in California. Earl was the son of Joseph LaBeaf, whose parents were French-Canadian; and of Emma Sawyer. Josephine was born in California, the daughter of Italian parents, Giuseppe Biscotto and Marina Lauria, from Salina, one of the Aeolian Islands north of Sicily.
Jennette’s maternal grandmother is Beverly Tinder (the daughter of Gordon William “Shorty” Tinder and Villie Gertrude Newman). Beverly was born in Utah. Gordon was born in Silver City, Juab County, Utah, the son of William Henry Tinder and Elaine/Lillie Hawkins, whose father was from Buckinghamshire, England. Jennette’s great-grandmother Villie was born in Eureka, Juab County, the daughter of Matts/Mat Johansson Newman/Nyman and Johanna/Hannah Carlson/Carlsson/Carlsdotter, who were from Finland, and were both of Swedish descent.
Jennette’s matrilineal line can be traced to Malin Jönsdotter Påfvals, who was born, c. 1687, in Pedersören kunta, Vaasa, Finland.

Mixed Kidd says:
How come her Mexican/Native American roots got removed?
WalterWalten says:
Because it is from her maternal great-great-grandfather William Henry Tinder’s 2nd marriage. I’ll explain, William Henry Tinder was married to Lillie Hawkins in 1903 and had two children together; Gordon (Jennette’s maternal great-grandfather) and Rhea Tinder. They divorced sometime after. William then married Ella Cecelia Romero in 1917, who is of Mexican/Native American descent and together they had one child, a daughter named Edith Tinder. Ella is the step-mother to Jennette’s maternal great-grandfather Gordon. Therefore she is not of Mexican/Native American descent.
