Jennifer Marsala is an American actress and comedian. She is known for her roles on the series Grey’s Anatomy, Homeland, Taken, The Last Tycoon, and Lie to Me.

She is married to English screenwriter, producer, and soldier Alexander Cary, Master of Falkland.

Jennifer’s paternal grandfather was John G. Marsala (the son of Giuseppe “Joseph” Marsala and Anna/Amna “Annie” Ansaldo/Anzando). John was born in New York, to Sicilian Italian parents. Giuseppe was born in Castelvetrano, province of Trapani, the son of Nicolo Marsala and Vita Cappello. Anna was also born in Castelvetrano, the daughter of Nicolo Ansaldo/Anzando and Beatrice Bologna.

Jennifer’s paternal grandmother was Theresa “Terry” Kinzelmann (the daughter of Alfons/Alfonse/Alphonse Kinzelmann and Violet Chimienti/Chimenti). Theresa was born in New York.
