In Solarpunk, Raspberry Muffin is one of the items required by the Tradebot as one of its trades, making it a part of core gameplay progression as the 4th Airship Upgrade is locked behind it.

The default recipe that players can make in the game is called Raspberry Muffin (unbaked), which the Tradebot will not accept. This guide covers how you can make a Raspberry Muffin and complete the baking process to get the proper item. Here’s the breakdown.

How to Make Raspberry Muffin in Solarpunk

To make Raspberry Muffin in Solarpunk, you first have to research “Cooking” at a Tier 6 Research Table (requires Bricks x5, Wood x2, Iron x2). This unlocks the Raspberry Muffin recipe, as well as the recipes for Kitchen Counter and the Outdoor Table.

Next, you'll need to build either a Kitchen Counter or an Outdoor Kitchen (more details below) and place it in your base.

Interact with whichever version of the kitchen you built and select the “Raspberry Muffin (unbaked)” recipe. It requires the following materials:

• Dough x1: Dough can be made at a Kitchen Counter, Outdoor Kitchen, or Crafting Table using Wheat x3.
• Raspberry x1: Raspberry can be obtained by harvesting Raspberry Bushes, either by finding them in the game world or by planting Raspberry Seeds in your garden and growing them yourself.
• Egg x1: Eggs can be obtained by farming chickens.

Use the recipe to make Raspberry Muffin (unbaked).

How to Bake Raspberry Muffin (Unbaked)

To turn a Raspberry Muffin (unbaked) into a Raspberry Muffin, you’ll need to bake it in a Furnace (or Energy Furnace) using any fuel.

After the progress bar is complete, the unbaked version will have turned into a proper Raspberry Muffin, ready to be eaten or given to the Tradebot.

There is a chance that you will find Raspberry Muffins inside lootable chests found in the world. In fact, we managed to find exactly two Raspberry Muffins inside chests just before the Tradebot asked for the trade, allowing us to skip the cooking process entirely.

How to Make Kitchen Counter and Outdoor Kitchen in Solarpunk

As mentioned above, both Kitchen Counter and Outdoor Kitchen are cooking stations that can be unlocked by researching “Cooking” at the Research Table (Tier 6).

Once they are unlocked, you’ll be able to build them at a Crafting Table. Functionally, the Kitchen Counter and the Outdoor Kitchen are exactly the same. Contrary to what their names suggest, you can place both of them indoors or outdoors. Yes, the Outdoor Kitchen can be placed inside your house (we tested it!).

Outdoor Kitchen and Kitchen Counter share the same entry (Kitchen Counter) in the Crafting Table’s Utilities tab. To select Outdoor Kitchen, click on the second icon under “Alternative.”

Pot and Pan are placeable items that can be unlocked by researching Decorative Plates & Pots & Pans at a Tier 6 Research Table. To make them, look for the “Pan” entry in the Crafting Table’s Decorations tab. Pots, Pans, and Plates all share the same entry (Pans), and to craft the other items, you’ll need to click on the other options under “Alternatives.”
