Guidelines for finding and downloading music (in other words, how things are organised here):
~ (tilde) The
language of the uploaded music will be indicated with a (~) in its tag.
e.g. ~korean, ~finnish, ~spanish, ~english
# (octothorpe) The artists themselves will be tagged with a preceding (#), including all articles ('A', 'The', etc.) and with spaces. Foreign artists will be tagged including their romanised names, but without accents.
e.g. #the beatles, #ζ€εζζͺ, #shiina ringo, #bjork
% (percent) The geographical region of the music will be tagged with a (%), followed by the area or country. Mostly done for 'ethnic' or 'world' music.
e.g. %african, %asian, %cuban, %scandinavian
- (hyphen) Used for special categories such as soundtracks, compilations, and other instances where one artist might not be tagged.
e.g. -soundtrack, -compilation, -mix, -cover, -remix
Requests may be made, but only informally. That is to say, there is no 'master list' or anything to request from. If you'd like to attempt a request, please do so on the most recent upload entry, and hope that we have it.
You do not have to join the community to download music, but again, please comment.
