Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi broke protocol as he received the Crown Prince on his arrival here. Modi welcomed Sheikh Mohamed with a warm embrace as the latter alighted from his aircraft at the Palam Technical Area here. The crown prince is being accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising cabinet ministers. It is the Crown Prince's first state visit to India.

He had earlier received US President Barak Obama during the latter's visit to India. Both leaders later shook hands and exchanged pleasantries. They also waved hands at media persons present at the venue. It is the Crown Prince's first state visit to India.
