Bihar Board conducts Intermediate and Matric exams annually in February. Nearly 30 lakh candidates appear for their board exams every year. This year, the Class 12 exams were held between February 1 and 15 and the results are declared in March at the official BSEB websites — bsebinter.org, results.biharboardonline.com. BSEB will start the application process for Class 12 result scrutiny and compartment exams once the result is out.
Bihar Board Inter result is expected in the last week of March and Class 10 result in April first week.
The BSEB has announced that CBSE, CISCE and other state board students have started switching to Bihar Board. The compartment/ supplementary exams will be conducted in April-May.
Bihar Board, Patna also provides free JEE and NEET coaching to meritorious students.
The Bihar board compartment exam results were announced at 4 pm by Bihar Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari from BSEB headquarters auditorium located on Sinha Library Road in Patna.
As per the notification, the theory examinations will be conducted from May 2 to May 6, 2026, in two shifts each day. The first shift will run from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm, while the second shift will be held from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.
