The meeting was also attended by CBSE Chairman Rahul Singh, Secretary, School Education, Sanjay Kumar and other officials of the Ministry of Education and the board.
The video explains that only students who have already obtained photocopies of their evaluated answer books are eligible to apply for verification or re-evaluation.
The association alleged that these issues forced evaluators to adopt “excessive caution” during marking, resulting in stricter evaluation in several cases.
The Education Minister replied, attacking Rahul Gandhi over his May 27 remarks, alleging that a firm with a murky past in Telangana was handed the contract by CBSE for digital evaluation of answer books. Pradhan said Gandhi is "frustrated" and "opposed" to India's technological progress.
“The government acknowledges some discrepancies, accepts responsibility, and promises corrective measures,” the Union Education Minister said, adding that officials had been directed to ensure timely redressal of all pending student complaints.
According to Rahul Gandhi’s statement, COEMPT had earlier operated under the name 'Globarena', and had been linked to controversies in Telangana in 2019.
CBSE also said no real student data, marks, or evaluation records were present on the testing platform and stressed that no security breach has been detected in the live assessment infrastructure.
For thousands of students and parents, something was amiss; the incongruity between how their wards recalled taking the exam and how they actually scored sparked a controversy.
Banks have been asked to work closely with the CBSE to strengthen the payment gateway infrastructure through advanced technical safeguards, real-time monitoring and faster grievance redressal mechanisms.
