It dropped to 1.35 lakh in 2022, when the Board conducted exams in two terms with half the syllabus being tested in each term. When regular board exams returned in 2023, the number fell further to 1.13 lakh.
The Panchkula region, comprising Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, recorded an overall pass percentage of 85.73 per cent. A total of 83.16 per cent boys and 88.92 per cent girls cleared the exams.

CBSE had earlier released the answer key and provided an objection facility to registered candidates. Results for the same are now available on the official website — ctet.nic.in
