Ghaziabad, Feb 11 (ANI): Ghaziabad Police on Thursday confirmed that they have launched a search operation for a 23-year-old woman, who her family claims was allegedly abducted by an auto driver on Wednesday night. Superintendent of Police Salman Taj Patil on Thursday said that Dipti Sarna, who works in an office in Gurgaon, Haryana, may have been abducted by the auto driver from the main bus stand at Ghaziabad. He said that Dipti's family has filed a case with the police station at Sihani Gate in which they have said that she was speaking to a friend on her mobile phone and suddenly started shouting as the auto driver took a wrong route. He also that Dipti's family had informed the police that they usually came to the bus stand to pick Dipti up and then go to their home in Vaishali. New Delhi/Gurgaon / Ludhiana, Jan 08 (ANI): New Delhi woke up to a foggy morning on Friday with minimum temperatures dropping to 11 degree Celsius and poor visibility hitting vehicular movement. Early morning departures and arrivals of flights were delayed as visibility was very low on the runway. Around 60 flights were delayed. Delhi is expected to witness light rains on Saturday evening which is expected to lower the temperatures further. The traffic was slow, causing inconvenience to the commuters. Gurgaon also experienced severe foggy condition allowing only a very few vehicles on the roads. Low visibility also created trouble in reading sign boards. Meanwhile, Ludhiana city in state of Punjab was also covered under a thick blanket of fog as cold wave conditions prevailed. The year 2016 started at a warm note but the temperatures might change again.

As mango stocks started arriving in Hyderabad markets, police and municipal authorities have launched separate operations to check for the use of illegal ripening agents that pose health risks.
On April 4 and 5, police arrested at least two wholesale fruit traders who were allegedly using excessive ripening agents and chemicals to ripen mangoes from Andhra Pradesh.
