50 for Ryan Rickelton from 22 deliveries. There has been a lot of discussion about Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma and Priyansh Arya being hyper-aggressive, but Rickelton has not been too far behind. He has maintained a very high-tempo at the top order, which is tailor-made for this Wankhede wicket. As we update Rohit got his 50.

Ryan Rickleton is looking in sublime touch here in the middle. He has been in some top form this season; if anything, Mumbai could not make the most of his services this season. Lucknow's bowling has been its strength this season, and today it has not worked out well enough for them.

Mumbai Indians scored 10 runs from that opening over. Ryan Rickleton had an edge to start things. Shami did start the tournament well, but as the tournament progressed, his form tapered off. Moshin Khan has come into the attack from the other end. He can get something out of this bouncy Wankhede surface.

That's the end of the first innings, and Lucknow has stumbled upon 228/5 from 20 overs. That is a good score, but they will still have to bowl well. If Mumbai can bat with the power they have, they will be able to chase these down with comfort. But we have to wait and see where they are as a batting unit, confidence-wise and form wise do stay with us, and we will be right back.

This is a fine rebuild from Himmat Singh and Aiden Markram in the middle. Lucknow were losing their way in the middle overs, but these two have played it quite sensibly. Himmat took his time to get in, and now that he is set, he is playing a few more shots. Markram, too, has anchored this innings well.

Raghu Sharma picked up his first wicket in the form of Raghuwanshi. The batter came down the track but ended up in no-man's land as the ball hit the bat and pad and then went straight back to the bowler. Lucknow, after a very good start continue to tumble here in Mumbai.

Bosch has picked up another set batter too in Mitchell Marsh. The batter hit a straight one to long off fielder. Lucknow, after getting a good start have lost a couple of quick wickets. Aiden Markram and Rishabh Pant are the batters in the middle, and they need to put on a partnership here.

This is brutal hitting from Lucknow Super Giants, they have almost got 100 runs from just seven overs. Promotion of Nicholas Pooran has worked out superbly for the Super Giants. Mumbai Indians' bowling has not hit its straps, yet this tournament and their issues continue today, too.

AM Ghazanfar has come into the attack and picked up the wicket of Jos Inglis. He is a pretty attacking batter. Inglis is making his debut, but has not worked out for him today. Mumbai Indians have picked up their early breakthrough, and they will be hoping to continue to chip away at wickets.

It is hard to understand what the result of the game will mean at this point in the tournament, but the nature of the IPL has been such that, over the years, teams' fortunes can change out of nowhere. A win is never a bad thing, no matter where the current table position is.

So it became a little better. So just want to take advantage and give it to the bowlers. He's (Hardik) not well tonight, so just going into his shoes. But yeah, the rest, everything is fine. There's definitely, Cobin Bosch comes in for Trent Boult and also our very own Rohit Sharma is back. You can't run away from the fact, to be very honest, Mumbai Indians is not known to be in such positions. But at the end of the day, it's just a game, part of the game, you have to put your chin up, play the game for why you love it, and put your hands up. Have that pride and enjoy the game. "He still needs to understand that his speed deliveries, his different action, his ability to shape the ball, that still needs to go to. That’ll be the stuff that strikes up front in particular. If you come on in the second spell and you bowl those slower balls, that’s fine. I’m not saying he’s gone over the top, but I think there’s been a little bit more of a reliance on that delivery."

"I think at one point of time, we were looking to get around 180, 190. Should have been a good total, but yeah, we could not get the momentum post 10 overs, could not get the finish as well," he said.

"It was not easy to go straightaway and kind of play shots, which even their batters, after getting set, they could not really take on the bowlers. It was more about playing calculative cricket and, making sure that we have the right wickets in hand. At the same point of time, batters could not get under the ball, they bowled better. And yeah, just overall as a bowling unit, they were better and as a batting unit, we were not."

Their impact has come across different stages of the innings. Prince has found wickets early and through the middle overs. Mohsin has broken partnerships and troubled set batters. Shami has provided discipline at the start and helped guide the attack through difficult periods. That variety has helped LSG compete even when totals have looked below par, as was the case against the Delhi Capitals, where they reduced the visitors to 26/4 in their 141-run defence.

Mohsin Khan has been even better in fewer matches. In four games, the left-arm quick has taken nine wickets at an average of 11.33 and an economy of 6.37, including a best of 5/23 against KKR, where, taking the new ball, he ripped the heart out of the opposition, reducing them to 31/4.

"I don't think the price tag has anything to do with it. If you really look at his batting throughout, in the second game that we played, he took us through the line, and I wouldn't be too concerned about his form. It's just a question of being one innings away from getting back to his normal."
