Kuwait’s ambassador, Naser Abdullah H. M. Alhayen, told the Geneva-based council, “We are seeing an existential threat to international and regional security. This aggressive approach is undermining international law and sovereignty.”
The UN human rights chief warned that the situation is dangerous. He said attacks on civilians must stop and added that deliberate strikes could be considered war crimes.
The UAE Defence Ministry has confirmed that a Moroccan civilian contractor with the United Arab Emirates’ armed forces was killed in Bahrain in an Iranian attack, Khaleej Times reported. Meanwhile, the power grid in Kuwait was disrupted by shrapnel from an air defence system, plunging parts of the country into darkness for several hours.

The Kuwait Defence Ministry said that a total of 20 ballistic missiles and nine hostile drones were detected by the country's air defence on March 25.
During a media briefing, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, spokesperson of the Ministry of Defence, said, "13 missiles were intercepted and destroyed, while seven fell outside the threat zone without posing any danger."
