BURNING SNOW is a short atmospheric experience about staying warm in a cold forest and eventually launching a firework. Seek matches and make fire while a mysterious cat companion guides you through the forest.

This is my first-ever 3D game, so I really hope you find it fun! I mostly focused on the visuals and tried to make the game as polished and atmospheric as I could! Please enjoy! :)

I love these kinds of games! You should make a difficulty setting where less matches could spawn and the map is bigger for people who like challenges.

While it's not really scary (For Me) it has great mechanics put in for your first 3D Game.
Just yesterday Poldo, a very followed youtuber and streamer in Italy, posted his recent marathon of indie horrors and this one was the first indie in the first video.
this is such a cute short little horror game! and for it being your first 3D game, it looks really good and plays very smoothly!
I actually loved this, it's humble and cute, the warming mechanic was genuinely fun and fair, I say you did a great job. Could you provide me with whatever resources you used to learn Godot? I've been interested in making games myself and the only engine I'm any good at is RPG Maker.

when i try opening the game it says "The code execution cannot proceed because UnityPlayer.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."
That's strange. The dll must be inside the game folder, I suppose. Did you extract the whole folder before running the game?
yeah i did, it is in fact weird, i just double clicked the dll and then tried opening the game again and it worked...

I adore this game! Our cat companion is so cute, I love them so much. The graphics in general look great, I love the cold affect around the screen and the pixelated style just adds to the charm. Great sound design too, especially the crackling flames; it really created a good spooky atmosphere. It wasn't stressful but I did feel conscious of my match usage and kept trying to go as far as I could without wasting them. I have to say I was not prepared for that ending at all, very well played. Fantastic little game.
I like this game it was cute and the ending was great! Wish there was more! I also kept throwing my matches by accident lol
