Hi Jim, typiclaly you shouldn't have to contact support to cancel a renewal that's coming up.

You can do it yourself: Please go to https://account.live.com

Sign into your Microsoft account. Then go to Services. Click on Manage for the subscription plan you want to cancel, or turn off auto-renewal so it will then expire when the day comes.

However, if you subscribe via third party, like Apple, Google or Best Buy, etc, you will have to go through their billing support, Microsoft explains it here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/manage-your-microsoft-365-subscription-purchased-through-a-third-party-44749f45-4c0b-5d41-a73f-7634b8d2a763

Let me know if you run into any difficulty during this process, and specifically what the difficulty is if further help is needed.

Last year I made an error and signed up for MS365 directly with MS and also renewed my GoDaddy version of MS365.

Then on 1/16/26 this year I once again renewed my GoDaddy account to include MS365 Business Professional  for $239.38.

Then on 3/7/26 I received a renewal notification with automatic billing on my CC for April 6th.

I have been trying to get to the MS admin page but when I do it always takes me to the GoDaddy page thus I cannot get to MS Help & Support.

All phone calls lead me back to the  page - from there I try to get to the admin page to put in a support ticket but it sends me to GoDaddy. Flummoxed

I see. So you have two separate MS365 subscription, one is personal with Microsoft directly, another is business via GoDaddy.

GoDaddy is Microsoft's reseller for commercial products. Unfortunately Microsoft cannot help directly with products purchased via them as billing is processed by them. But you can try these contact options instead of going through admin center. I think the support option via admin center is only available if you get your business plan directly with Microsoft without going through reseller. https://www.godaddy.com/help/contact-us

I cannot cancel a renewal subscription because it does not come up in my subscriptions. This happened last year and they could not tell me where the subscriptions was tied to in order to cancel. I need to talk with someone to cancel this mystery subscription that does not show in my account.

To cancel before auto-renewal and get a call from Support, use the Microsoft account portal and the Contact Support flow.

    1. Go to the Microsoft account, Payment & billing page and sign in with the same personal Microsoft account that owns the subscription.
    2. Under Services & subscriptions, locate the Microsoft 365 subscription.
    3. If you see Has recurring billing, select Change and then Turn off recurring billing so it won’t auto-renew. If you see Expires on [date], it will end on that date and no further action is needed for renewal.
    4. If you don’t see options to cancel or turn off recurring billing:
      • Confirm you’re signed in with the correct account.
      • If the subscription was bought through a third party (Amazon, Best Buy, mobile app store, etc.), cancellation must be done with that retailer. See details in Unable to cancel your Microsoft subscription.
    5. To place a ticket or request a call:
      • Go to Contact Microsoft Support.
      • Enter the issue (for example, “Cancel Microsoft 365 subscription / billing”), select Get Help, then choose Contact Support.
      • Select the product (Microsoft 365 & Office), category (for example, Manage my subscription), then confirm.
      • Choose Chat with a support agent or Call me back and provide contact details.

If the subscription is managed through an organization (work or school), contact the organization’s Microsoft 365 admin to cancel.
