I have been contributing to the Wikimedia projects since December 28, 2010. As of today, 15 years, 3 months and 13 days have passed since I began contributing.

As part of the global Wikimedia movement, I actively support the free knowledge movement of Wikimedia Bangladesh. I have served as a Board Member since 2016 and as Treasurer for the 2024–2025 term. In 2014, I founded the Chattogram Wikimedia Community, the first regional community of Wikimedia Bangladesh, to promote decentralisation.

I have held administrator rights on Bangla Wikipedia since April 2015, and on Bangla Wikivoyage and Wikimedia Commons since April 2017, with over 250,000 edits across Wikimedia projects. I am also a member of the VRT supporting user inquiries and permissions handling.

Previously, I served on the Ombudsman Commission (2021–2022). I have also contributed as an OTRS volunteer (2017–October 21, 2021), Global renamers (August 24, 2017–July 9, 2022), and Local Ambassador for Wikipedia to the Moon (2016). Additionally, I mentored in Google Code-in 2019 and helped organize initiatives such as Wiki Loves Bangla, Wiki Loves Earth Bangladesh, Wiki Loves Monuments Bangladesh, and Wikipedia Asian Month.

I am also involved with Creative Commons Bangladesh, the OpenStreetMap, and the Google Local Guides community.
