Add Vector 2022 as an option

I find the skin Vector 2022, without any custom styling, much easier to read and also close to Wikipedia.

- Customizing it to fit the style of the wiki would probably be very hard. 👁 Image

- I don't think we have the capacity at the moment to support a third skin, especially one as complicated as Vector 2022. We don't even have full support for the mobile skin (Minerva) yet! However, with the default skin, we have already implemented an option to view the wiki in fixed width mode, and if you have some personal preferences, you can always edit the skin yourself via the your personal user CSS file. But if you have any suggestions for modifications for the default skin, feel free to post them! | violine1101 (talk) 10:58, 29 September 2024 (UTC)
- That's the point, an option for a clean Wikipedia look without the wiki branding would be useful to focus on reading. It's also more than fixed-width and can't be done in CSS, sadly. Gugalcrom123 (talk) 17:30, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
- If focus on reading is a problem, most browsers have a reader mode which is supported by the wiki on most pages, and the mobile skin also has a less intrusive interface, which you can also access on desktop. You haven't brought any good arguments for why we should support this skin besides just your personal preference. It would take a lot of effort to support that.
- Also, if CSS isn't enough, in addition you also have a personal user JS file you can use to customize your wiki experience further :) | violine1101 (talk) 19:44, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
