One day, Jett began a Minecraft speedrun during a session of a gardening club where none of the members arrived. Mr. Alvarez informed him of his acceptance into the Southwest Regional Tech Fair's Minecraft Tournament. Jesse proceeds to soccer practice, convinces his family to let him go, and spends the next few weeks finishing his homework before he goes home each day.

The school has facilities such as a greenhouse of moderate size, as well as access to a soccer field.
One of the teachers is stated to teach a geometry class. The school is known to have many extracurricular activities, including a gardening club, dance class, and soccer practice, the latter two occurring after the former. Homework is assigned daily, and students frequently complete it before departing home.
