Minecraft Wiki:You should not be here for user pages

A person that engages with the Minecraft Wiki should not be doing so with the primary purpose of editing their user pages or engaging with other people's user pages.

The Minecraft Wiki is not a web host; it is also neither a social networking service nor a social network game. It is not disallowed to have user pages or discussions that are irrelevant to the wiki. However, the wiki's main purpose is to build a collaborative encyclopedia about the Minecraft franchise. All users should be here with the intention to contribute productively to it in some way.

A user can be blocked from editing the User and User talk namespaces if they:

• have made 50 or more edits in total
• have the majority of their activity in the User and User talk namespaces
• do not use the User and User talk namespaces for wiki-related purposes (e.g. drafting changes in a sandbox, discussing wiki-related topics)

The block length may be increased for repeated offenses.

Before an administrator can block a user with this policy as justification, the user must be given a clear, written notice on their talk page linking to this page and explaining that the user must decrease their activity in the user space and increase their activity in content namespaces. Only after two weeks of unchanged activity may the block be carried out.
