Hello, I would like to suggest adding (or even replace) the following version prefix:

-elseif(c:match('^snap')) then c=currentVersion..' Snapshot '..text:gsub('^snap', '')
+elseif(c:match('^snapshot')) then c=currentVersion..' Snapshot '..text:gsub('^snapshot', '')

Use only the prefix snap don't seem righ to me because is not a "official" truncation like pre or rc, the official version id use snapshot, and we should use as it.

EDIT: I miss read the edit autorisation and I can ad the line. Still think that use truncation for the new name is a bad idea. – un_pogaz ^talk 16:58, 19 December 2025 (UTC)
