Renamed my .minecraft folder to get it (temporarily) out of the way, then started the game and compared the results with the entries on the page. I removed all the references to the old launcher and replaced those for the current one. Also took the liberty of removing any references to mods because according to the style guide we should be focusing on the latest vanilla version of the game.

There are a few files of which I'm not fully certain yet, I'll get to those later this week. But for now this page is decently up to date, so I also updated the header accordingly to reflect on this. - ShelLuser (talk) 12:54, 22 August 2017 (UTC)

.minecraft is located under %AppData%\Roaming on Windows. Someone please update the page to reflect this.

The %APPDATA% environment variable resolves to C:/Users/Username/AppData/Roaming automatically - you don't need to add Roaming separately. As such the table on the page is already accurate. --Pokechu22 (talk) 19:22, 16 September 2017 (UTC)

Minecraft wrongly displays date format eg. it's 2nd of april but displays as 4th of february. can i change it somewhere (i searched in lang file n dont find code line of time display). obviously i mean time last played any world.

It shows the month first, then the day. Not only does Minecraft do that; there are other programs that display the date in this format. ManosSef (talk) 09:52, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
