Why is the New Nintendo 3DS Edition separate from Leagcy console edition? i mean the 3DS is a console too! why did'nt they make it to leagcy Console edition? (before you say that it's a modified version of pocket edition and that it has its own edition, there is no reason specifed why its not on console edition) Douglas15amor (talk) 15:26, 25 July 2025 (UTC)

Legacy Console Edition encompasses editions of the game developed by 4J studios, while New 3DS edition was developed by Mojang and Other Ocean Interactive. Gwen Stacy (talk) 15:31, 25 July 2025 (UTC)

It was not developed by 4J Studios; the New 3ds/2ds is technically not a console, but rather a handheld; all of the LCE releases have the same "look" to them, which this edition does not; it was built of PE, with LCE being built off JE; and I'm sure there's other reasons I cant think of. 👁 Image
