Vanilla examples?

I think it would be really helpful if we had a column in the table for "Normal vanilla value" or something like that. (For example, `gameplay/bees_stay_in_hive` would be "True only at night", and `gameplay/piglins_zombify` would be "True in the overworld".)

At the moment, it's kind of hard to understand some of the items in the table. (I would be willing to contribute some of these values if I knew how tables work :) ) Sillypantscoder (talk) 03:36, 7 November 2025 (UTC)

I guess it might make sense to add one column for those, though the table is already pretty wide. However, it would be tricky to specify a vanilla value for the attributes set by biomes. -- jacobsjo (talk) 13:44, 9 November 2025 (UTC)
Dimension type already has a "Defaults" section. Maybe when environment attributes are officially released, we could have a table on each page describing a dimension or biome, which lists all the environment attribute modifiers applied there.
Regardless, I still think it would be a good idea to include vanilla values as a column. For values set by biomes we can just write "Biome Specific", and for more complicated vanilla values (such as gameplay/villager_activity) we can link to a relevant article. I'm more interested in attributes like gameplay/can_start_raid and visual/moon_phase, which would be simple to describe and would aid in understanding the article. In the text "Environment attributes control various visual and gameplay features depending on the dimension and biome.", time and weather could be indicated.
