1.20.4 is the current version of Java Edition
[edit source]
Why avoiding using present tense if the version in question is the current one????

- Because it would just create unncessary work for the future once a new version releases. In the current way it's written, it's applicable to any point in time and doesn't need any further edit. EliteHog (talk) 18:13, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- Unnecessary work?????? It's a matter of three words + mojang puts up a new update every once in a few months, it's not like you have to update it daily--Zoppo (talk) 18:08, 1 February 2024 (UTC)Zoppo
- Actually Mojang puts out a new version multiple times during most weeks. If we used present tense in release versions, it's an inconsistency if we don't do it in development versions. If we do it in development versions, then it's just an annoyance and yes, unnecessary work, to update the previous page's phrasing every time a new version releases. You may as well just make the tense applicable to any point in time. - Harristic / Talk 👁 Image

i'm not talking about the snapshots. The average time between two release versions is at least a few months (example: distance between the release of 1.19.3 and 1.19.4: 3 months and 7 days (12/7/22 - 03/14/23) --Zoppo (talk) 22:39, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Zoppo

If you use the 32-bit version of Java 21 from Liberica JDK, the last version to support 32-bit operating systems is 1.21.11!
