In the page history, an edit made by an ip user have been reverted for speculation because they have said that the new splash added in this snapshot "may be a lord of the rings reference". But the splash page says that this splash is a LOTR reference. I need clarification. 👁 Image

- Another MCW page is not a reliable source, since it is also written by editors. Regarding your remark, the page has a description and a note, but the linked source makes no mention of LOTR. - I don't really know about that. On that page, it is mentioned because that's where they got it from. On the update page, it should not be mentioned because that wasn't explicitly mentioned, so it isn't really part of the update.

- Yes, in the snapshot page, there is just a dev note saying "This statement was proven false on october 4, 2025" for the far lands or bust videos. For the LOTR reference, this topic remind me a similar other for the "Thanks you for the fish" splash where an user sayed that this splash is a reference of the book hitchikers guide to the galexary, but was rejected for be unsourced.
