I found this random minecraft jar download on Archive.org for alpha 1.0.2 and i don't know for sure if this is just an edited alpha 1.0.2_01 or it's the real one
[edit source]Latest comment: 29 January3 comments3 people in discussion so i was searching for random alpha versions of minecraft on internet archive and i found this download : link : Minecraft Alpha 1.0.2 : Notch : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive . i downloaded it and ran the jar using betacraft and it actually worked and on the top left it says "Minecraft Alpha v1.0.2" but im not really sure if this is just and edited Minecraft alpha 1.0.2_01 or it is the actual jar. so is there any way i can make sure? - sorry but this is a remake of alpha 1.0.2. i checked the .jar in 7-zip in november 2025 thanks to some talk on the omniarchive discord and it was an edited alpha 1.0.1_01 .jar file. so its not the real a1.0.2. Afro (talk) 01:31, 29 January 2026 (UTC)
