The 3rd and 4rth points under bedrock

[edit source]
Latest comment: 22 May 20191 comment1 person in discussion

Upon testing in 0.0.13a I saw that bedrock can never be selected or placed against (though one can still place block on bedrock if placing against another block). The layer above bedrock is also allways dark even if exposed to the light. I'm almost sure this was added in 0.0.12a since I cant imagine Notch making bedrock darker in any patch since, I also doubt that bedrock selection was removed since then leaving 0.0.12a as the only version left (especially since it was a major version). However, I have no direct proof of any of this being done in 0.0.12a, if anyone has proof that would be great 69.127.96.14 20:52, 22 May 2019 (UTC)

Just came across the .jar and .json files for this version on my computer and saw this version was missing. Would like to post them on the article. Rainbowhearts11211 (talk) 07:03, 11 June 2019 (UTC)

>.json yeah its a luigi2600 fake. -icanttellyou (my ip is static btw) 78.58.132.107 11:54, 11 June 2019 (UTC)

or maybe not if you check the jar file in 7-zip. if they have dates beyond the release date of 0.0.12a then it is a fake 78.58.132.107 20:45, 26 June 2019 (UTC)

Archived videos

It seems the YouTube account with the archived Notch videos, namely reflinks 3 and 4, has been terminated. Do we have any other archives in place? Aepokk (talk) 01:31, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

Okay, so it looks like Internet Video Archive has both videos! We should considering switching other old links over to that channel if documented. Aepokk (talk) 01:40, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

How to find out this is fake? Only files date? MXxTeN2 (talk) 19:17, 7 August 2020 (UTC)

Are you saying that you might have this version? If so, do you have Discord? I'd like to discuss this further. Tolerabledruid6 (talk) 23:35, 7 November 2020 (UTC)

0.0.12a found

Using the BetaCraft Launcher I found 0.0.12a and 0.0.12a_dev. I could not add an image because it does not work on my MacBook Air running Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. Click the servers button on the top to see servers. It also adds functionality back into old versions. It supports rd-1332211 (pc-132011) to version 1.5.

Sorry, but the "c0.0.12a-dev" found in the BetaCraft Launcher, is actually the first developer build of c0.0.12a, or the "c0.0.11a" found in the Minecraft Launcher. I'm not sure on how you saw "c0.0.12a" in the BetaCraft Launcher version list. If you want to play this version, the version closest to "c0.0.12a" is c0.0.12a_03, which is a found version. --SeaGlowingPro (talk) 08:25, 8 February 2023 (UTC)

How to analize minecraft classic versions

[edit source]
Latest comment: 12 January 20251 comment1 person in discussion

If you have found a Minecraft classic version, you first have to see dates of the .jar, and .class archives, if the date of the archives is the same of the version, this version is at least reliable. You also have to see the .jar/META-INF folder, if the META-INF folder is empty, probably your version is fake. At last case, you also have to see .jar/folders, if date of the folders is 06/08/2013, your version is Launcher version or little just one recompilation, that neither the pre-classic versions. (Opcional) you also can see .json files, because sometimes .json file contain some importante information about the version 168.232.161.183 11:26, 12 January 2025 (UTC)

Why can't I add a additions table here?

I want to know the reason and add a table under positive conditions. Fedea (talk) 14:34, 13 February 2025 (UTC)

Please read the template's document. It clearly states: "This template should not be used on versions that added too few blocks or items (usually less than 4)" — Hoangminhle👁 Image

What does "Model has z-fighting with blocks below lava." mean?

--FeedbackBot 11:23, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
It means that the texture repeatedly glitches through another part of a different texture. BDJP (t|c) 05:47, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
