The jockeys aren't really their own unique mobs, they're a mob riding another mob, without any extra properties. The only jockey that's really unique compared to its regular counterparts is the skeleton horseman, and that doesn't even have its own page. Looking at the pages for chicken jockeys and spider jockeys, which are the only jockeys that for some reason have their own pages, the information seems to be very segregated between the rider and the mount, only exemplifying this. How about we merge all the jockey pages onto this page and the pages of the respective riders and mounts? Pescavelho (talk) 16:43, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
- I don't know if there was a previous discussion establishing separated jockey pages but I'd support merging them here. These separate jockey pages are garnering lots of duplicate information and the only real additional behavior is the riding mob controlling the movement, which can be described on a single page. โSonicwave talk 22:53, 3 July 2022 (UTC)

Strong Support Separate jockey pages should redirect to main Jockey page and needs removing jockeys from navbox entities Buzzilaa (talk) 14:05, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
It's a unique mob that is very rarely spawning. If it spawns in the overworld, nether, or end, it technically qualifies as a mob. Merging it with another page isn't needed since it has enough info to have a detailed article.

- Jockeys aren't a single mob though and there's no in-game identification for them. As mentioned in the above section, the pages contain lots of duplicated information as the mobs largely behave independently, with the exception of a few jockey-specific behaviors (such as the riding mob controlling movement and the mobs turning on each other if misfiring) that can be described on a single page. โSonicwave talk 04:24, 14 August 2022 (UTC)

- If you're referring to the gallery, please note that it takes time to do mob renders, and we have very few people who actually make said renders ๐ Image

- One example of the rarest possible jockeys can be found at Chicken Jockey ยง Trivia, though it's probable that it could be outdated. - RedX (talk) 17:41, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
