I think the redirect is ridiculous. This page should be its own page. I do not support redirecting to mobs because not all mobs are monsters (most but not all neutral and hostile mobs). The Blobs👁 Image

- Yeah, villagers are basically people and they are mobs, so. Kivitoe (talk)
- It redirects because Humans were originally called Monsters, as mentioned in the Human article. I don't see any need to split the existing Mobs article. -- Orthotopetalk 04:06, 18 September 2015 (UTC)
- As for your not supporting of redirecting to mobs, a redirect title does not need to represent the full article it redirects to. If they did, we could never merge any articles as every redirect would not cover the whole article (eg, white stained clay does not represent the other colors, so we must get rid of that redirect).
- Since the term "Monster" is rarely used in accordance to humans these days (since they were removed even before the alpha stage), I agree with sending to mobs as the primary use of the term, and just leaving a
{{redirect}} note. –KnightMiner t/c 23:07, 18 September 2015 (UTC)
- The page explains nothing about what a monster is. If this page were to redirect, we would need to change that (which one could do if there is agreement). The Blobs👁 Image
