Currently the page says that, in Java edition, having copper blocks close together makes them oxidize far slower than spreading them out. I can confirm this is also the case in Bedrock 1.20.62; I have 5 spread-out blocks (replaced when they oxidize) that have oxidized probably 12 times, in the same time that my firld of 77 blocks has had 4 oxidize. I don't know the details of the mechanic, though. Can someone please write up the details for Bedrock? 172.59.221.182 02:38, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
This article really seems to be written with java edition in mind and as such is a bit biased and doesn't provide a lot of info about Bedrock Edition. The paragraph layout also kind of assumes the reader doesn't care about Bedrock Edition.
Since the copper golem is already included on the list of affected blocks and mobs, we should include information on how it oxidizes. Is it also affected by the oxidation stages of nearby copper blocks or does it work differently? GoldJackal (talk) 18:38, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
