Changelog.Appears.TOMMOROW!UNDELETE THE PAGEStorymodefan0315 (talk) 11:20, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

Not really grounds for keeping the page unless the build has actually been released, and if there is a reliable source supporting that statement. -BDJP (t|c) 11:26, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

uhh rageelixir has build 6Storymodefan0315 (talk) 11:40, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

Doesn't mean anything unless it's posted by either website or a reliable source. -BDJP (t|c) 11:50, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

There is no such a thing like hoax, there is actually an update for this version. I'll link you to a reddit page that has been made: here. (also yes there is an option to select 1.0.0.7 as the affected version in the bug tracker, so yeah) – ItsPlantseed|14:44, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

We can get a confirmation from SamGamgee55 and HelenAngel. The Blobs👁 Image

Its not a hoax, build six was released yesterday (at the time of this writing). Have no idea what the changelog contains, though. So yes build 6 is out.--SamGamgee55 (talk) 15:26, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

Following up on what SamGamgee55 said, a changelog for build 6 should appear on https://feedback.minecraft.net/knowledgebase/topics/126030-changelogs tomorrow, if not soon. Thanks, Maethoredhel (tc👁 Logs

Feel free to message me on Twitter or email me if you ever need confirmation about a build. I was asleep but my Twitter notification would have woken me up! :) --HelenAngel (talk) 19:36, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

BDJP007301, it actually had been released at that point, why didn't you just open your phone and verify it? The game itself is its own most reliable source – there doesn't need to be a written blog post or other support, if it's clear that your device has performed an update, and the in-game version number has changed. – Sealbudsman talk/contr 16:28, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

I, unfortunately, have an iOS device, not an Android device. -BDJP (t|c) 19:20, 12 December 2016 (UTC)
So sorry, all, I fell asleep before they confirmed that they were pushing the beta build live. It was just a fix for some crashes we saw on some Android devices. --HelenAngel (talk) 19:26, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

Why the versioning is so weird

The versioning changed & skipped a few numbers for two reasons:

  • We realized we needed to push out the versioning for the final build for public release across all devices so that our Android players would upgrade to the latest version (as you can't have a pre-release build version higher than the release build version or the devices won't update).
  • We had a few internal builds that we ended up not releasing.
