- The one screenshot we have of them doesn't show any water movement - none of the water blocks look like they're flowing. That's not to say that Notch or Jeb couldn't have added some sort of current behavior to water, though. 「ダイノガイ千？！」? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 16:54, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

- "No fully-passive mobs spawn within river biomes themselves, but they frequently wander into them from the surrounding biomes if they can spawn there. Drowned can spawn underwater, as can salmon and squid".
