This article up until just now carried a stub template, I myself got rid of it since though the information provided here is brief, it's complete enough. Unless anyone else believes this still constitutes a stub? -St. Fenix (User•Talk) 07:10, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
Maybe the sentence about soul sand. Also I think that a golden shovel isn't faster on dirt, tried it on a quarry, I feel almost no difference between a golden and diamond one. And the "trick" that saves you one use (switching just before breaking). Calinou 16:48, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
PLEASE CHANGE THE WORD "SHOVEL" TO "SPADE", it has changed in the 1.2.4 update. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Epicfailx99 (Talk|Contribs) 19:27, 24 March 2012. Please sign your posts with ~~~~
Actually it did change, i'm seeing Spade too. I just noticed it yesterday. --50.43.18.105 00:26, 21 June 2013 (UTC)PiranhaBomb57214
In the "Speed" section of the page there is only one link in the head of the table to a footnote of the section, but below the table there are 10 footnotes saying exactly the same. ("Times are for unenchanted tools in seconds.") The tiny up arrows before the footnote lines seem not to redirect to the footnote link up in the table, except the first one. I tried to locate the error, but failed; I'm probably not that expert in Wiki-editing. Since footnote text does not appear to be in the wikitext code of the whole page, it is even possible that some template should be changed. --Maxbacsi (talk) 10:21, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
In the new version, when you right click with shovel equipped on gras it will turn into something slightly smaller and yellowisher. This change is permanent and can be used to make ways or something. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 95.208.211.28 (talk) at April 21, 2016 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~
In bedrock edition, you can break snow [layers] instantly by using (not digging) any shovel on it. https://youtu.be/WppGvVxkP_o?t=211 Should this be added? --76.24.42.79 23:54, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
