Talk:Vibration

While looking at the Calibrated Sculk Sensor and Sculk Sensor pages I noticed that the vibration frequency tables are quite different. Then I also found this article. The table in this article is quite close to the one in Sculk Sensor with some differences like missing links.

Using Partial Transclusion this article's table can be included in the other articles. Then only this page needs to be maintained, with changes automatically propagating to the other pages. An alternative would be to create a template for the table and transclude that in all three articles.

I already did this for the Calibrated Sculk Sensor page (see https://minecraft.wiki/w/Calibrated_Sculk_Sensor?diff=prev&oldid=3367755). For the Sculk Sensor page I need to merge that table with this table, for which I currently do not have the time.

I've now merged the vibration frequency table from Sculk Sensor with this page's table.

A good next step would be to migrate the vibration frequency related history items from the sculk sensor and Calibrated Sculk Sensor pages to this page. Tainmere (talk) 12:03, 11 January 2026 (UTC)

Minecarts rolling on rail apprently emit vibrations of category 1 (which I infer from https://mojira.dev/MC-261233), but it's not apparent from the table as it stands, nor from the minecart article. Nerefir (talk) 15:25, 17 June 2026 (UTC)
