Some infobox templates, like {{Infobox tree}} or {{Structure}}, have a feature where some rows are automatically collapsed if they contain too many characters. Instead of this feature having to be implemented for each template every time, I think we would benefit from it being implemented in {{Infobox row}}. This is less error-prone (see this change) and it helps keeping the style consistent long term. To implement this feature in a way that is backward compatible with already existing templates, I suggest we add a new |collapse= numeric parameter: iff present, it corresponds to the number of characters after which the row is collapsed (maybe another metric can be used, but this is how it currently works in {{Infobox tree}} and {{Structure}}). Of course, if the paramater is not specified, the row is never collapsed. --MDLC01 17:18, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
