Tutorial talk:Arithmetic logic

Why is this named Tutorials/Logic gates? It only covers adders, not all logic gates. (Except for that one part at the end.) I expected this to be a tutorial on how logic gates work, not just adders. 76.100.175.188 18:36, 16 June 2024 (UTC)

 Strong Support On the Tutorials page, the link to this page is called Arithmetic logic, which I think makes sense given this page talks about adding, subtracting, and building arithmetic logic units. So, I propose this page be renamed Tutorials/Arithmetic logic. Rampage455 (talk) 21:03, 17 June 2024 (UTC)

Update: It appears this page used to be named Tutorials/Arithmetic logic, but someone requested this page be moved to Tutorials/Logic gates claiming that what is listed on this page would be referred to as logic gates and people would be more likely to search for logic gates when looking for the content of this page. I disagree, typical logic gates are AND, OR, XOR, etc. Adders and arithmetic logic units use logic gates, but they themselves would probably not be called logic gates.
