Tutorial talk:Train station

A train station usually has a stack of minecarts and an automated system for arrival and departure using these carts. I can't see anything like that in this solution, the only thing it describes is a system for collecting fees. --Dalbotex 09:34, 5 May 2011 (UTC)

I am German and just worked on the topic railways in the German Minecraft Wiki and there are all the modules declared to create a working station. How? what? You don't need a ticket system in SMP.. This might be an idea for some server with economy and whatever.. but it doesn't make sense in general terms I'm also a bit worried about this not being a tutorial, period!... because you're just listing a few things that make no sense to anyone outside such economy and there is no actual tutorial on how to build it aside a list of resources which seem to be pulled from thin air .. no explanation why it works, or what the smeg is going on in the first place .. - and it's listed as 'see also' on the powered rail page without being referred to in depth in the text of that page, that's probably not the way to do it Lalophobia 14:13, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

This is the worst "tutorial" I've ever set my eyes upon. A list of materials is provided, but there are no instructions to explain how to use them, and the author claims that the Redstone circuitry used is "really complicated", but then explains how to build a simple switch-activated door. I don't know if the autor is a troll, or is just stupid, but apart from this "tutorial" being really simple, it says "NOTE: Really complicated, requires a good knowledge of redstone wiring. BE WARNED." and only uses a switch door. Ironically, that super easy to build door is explained in depth, but it doesn't explain anything else! Shall I make this tutorial again (well done) or make another one? (I'm not the original author of this) Ramiro ARG 21:21, 28 December 2012 (UTC)

I propose to merge Tutorials/Minecarts into Tutorials/Train station. I think that the content in the Minecarts tutorial can easily be explained in the context of the Train station tutorial, and the Train station tutorial is of a reasonable size that the merging will not cause any problems as far as article size is concerned.
