As of update 1.8 (or 1.9), soul sand and repeater-based one-way doors are not possible to make. As a result, I am removing one-way doors from the page.

Though I don't currently have the time to do it myself, I noticed that this page needs some help. It's main problem is being too specific, to the point that it's become a list of random trap ideas. Here's how I think this page could begin being fixed:
This is just a start because I haven't read through the entire page. I understand that the page doesn't just talk about building traps but also about diffusing them along with other topics related to traps. Hopefully someone else does something before I do it all!
I'll do it! 182.65.102.56 10:35, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
Is the section "Bedrock Edition Traps" necessary anymore? After redstone was added to BE, almost every Java Edition trap works in BE as well, so I think this section should be removed. 85.76.85.127 10:32, 7 April 2018 (UTC)
There are some missing traps and triggers here:
These can all be seen on the hermitcraft server videos.73.208.227.101 17:58, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
It states something about using obsidian to make it harder. Obsidian cannot be moved by pistons, and therefore it should be deleted. But last time I tried editing a wiki I messed up the page severely and I don't want to mess it up again (yay paranoia). 98.24.143.77
You can make a version of it that releases both water and lava via a dispenser and it solidifies on the target's head! 182.65.102.56 10:35, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
Bedtraps, etc. Is where a player's bed is surrounded with an infinite trap where even when the player dies, the player keeps respawning in the trap infinitely and cannot escape without help of another player who is not trapped. Portal traps can be as simple as having both portals on both sides covered, so the player trapped cannot do anything, but keep being stuck in an infinite loop until death by starvation, and then possibly respawn in the trap with a trapped bed. Is this allowed? --Blockofnetherite (talk) 21:30, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
Just some changes that would make the section a bit better, that's all. Any suggestions would be nice.
New Name for the trap: 'The Sculk Kamikaze Landmine'. It fits better with the trap, and doesn't sound as wordy.
New Description: 'This version of the landmine is probably the deadliest of the bunch. It detonates as quickly as the other instant landmines, but does not require a pressure plate to activate, meaning that even the most watchful player cannot escape its grasp. However, this landmine can be a double edged sword at times. Setting up the trap requires tricky placement of TNT Minecarts, and, once armed, can kill the creator as well as the victim. As long as you keep that Shift button pressed and take the steps slowly and carefully, you'll probably be fine.'
Again, any suggestions are welcome.
