Welcome to my user page! I'm SleepyRedHair! a moderately experienced Minecrafter who's been playing and loving the game since its early years. Aside from Minecraft, I also love editing wikis! That includes this very one you're on right now, the only Minecraft Wiki that's ever existed (trust me bro).
I can't quite recall how I discovered and first got interested in Minecraft; it was a very long time ago. I can tell you however that the first edition I ever owned was Xbox 360 Edition, which I received for Christmas alongside my Xbox 360 (I no longer have either). It took me some time to get used to the game, but back then, I was always more of a Creative person. And by that, I mean I literally only ever played in Creative Mode and rarely ever attempted Survival.
I would later get Pocket Edition on my Amazon Fire tablet, and would create a bunch of worlds that I miss dearly. To be fair though, a lot of them involved me flying 20 or so blocks away from my base and immediately getting lost and abandoning the world. Maybe one day I'll go searching for my home in those worlds, that is if they still exist.
In 2017, I would get my Nintendo Switch as that year's main Christmas present, and the first game that I installed from the Nintendo eShop was none other than Nintendo Switch Edition. On there, I created more Creative worlds such as one for miscellaneous builds and entire mega-village that I'd love to expand upon with friends someday. I also got hooked on the mini games and met many parasocial friends on there, none of whom I talk to or play with anymore. Hope they're doing alright out there.
After Nintendo Switch Edition was replaced with Bedrock Edition, I switched to that, transferred over all of my worlds, and have not looked back. Not that I dislike Legacy Console Edition, but I don't really know many people who still play it. Not to mention crossplay is super convenient and has allowed me to play with several of my closest friends anytime anywhere. I may pick up Java Edition in the future, but right now, I see no reason to switch.
