You removed the "upcoming" templates from the spawn egg page for the Java 1.12 version with the comment that it is released. I'm pretty certain 1.12 has not yet been released however (even though it's close). I think it's best to wait with removing upcoming templates when the version has actually been fully released, in case they decide to wait last minute because of newly discovered bugs. --Pepijn (talk) 02:55, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
- I was aware that it hadn't been released right now (but when most people would be looking back on it, I expected it would have been released), but I thought it was better to do it all at once then doing it two separate times. Even if it gets delayed because of bugs, it would only be an extra day or two. I also didn't realise that people were keeping up with such a random page, so I did it then instead of leaving it sitting around for a week with inaccurate information. - I understand, but rest assured that the people here will remove the "upcoming" template when the release hits (just look at Special:RecentChanges with the pocket edition update) :). It's not a super big deal to remove it a bit early, but it's preferred to stay consistent and as correct as possible since it might cause confusion when people see features which aren't fully released yet without the "upcoming" template. --Pepijn (talk) 07:19, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
