I wish it didn't have all the other characters besides Sonic characters. But I guess it's called Sonic Racing "Crossworlds". I was thinking of getting it but the other non-Sonic characters made me not interested. I would also call it a spin-off game.

I feel like there's no good Sonic games after 2020 (Sonic Colors Ultimate, Sonic Frontiers, Sonic x Shadow Generations, Sonic Origins) even if that's the unpopular opinion. Like I said, that's my opinion and other people can like what they like. I don't want to spend the time saying why I don't like them.

Anyway, I love Sonic the Hedgehog (both the character and franchise, at least up to 2017), even Knuckles Chaotix, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic R, Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog (although I don't think Sonic would swear, it makes sense for Shadow though), Sonic and the Secret Rings, Sonic the Hedgehog 2006, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colors, Sonic Lost World, Sonic Forces. Games some people would say are "bad". I genuinely hope my message doesn't upset anyone. I just wanted to share my personal opinion (which again, may be unpopular). Honestly… The only problem with 06 was that the Sonic’s (and final) story was bad, and they shipped him with Elise. And the glitches of course. Otherwise a really good game. 👁 Image

I don't think they fully shipped them. It was a one sided thing (kind of like with Amy). Elise liked Sonic but Sonic didn't like her, only as a friend (and I guess the difference is she didn't act as obsessed as Amy). I think the story was actually pretty good too. The mach speed sections were annoying because there was no aerial movement. And I think the model of Eggman was weird instead of the normal one. I didn't actually notice the glitches really. I never played it until like a couple years ago and I expected it to be really glitchy based on what people said on the internet but it wasn't that glitchy. Sorry, but I think you can see that Elise was probably in love with Sonic. I mean, she always was hanging out with him, and the romantic moments (“Heh. Nice smile”) tell you that SEGA really meant a romantic relationship. Crazy that 2 years earlier they made Sonic X Blaze in Sonic Rush. Crazy how back then SEGA really was into shipping… 👁 Image

I don't think Sonic liked her or even Percieval (The character who looked like Blaze in Black Knight). Percieval again might have kinda liked Sonic as a one sided thing. I don't know anything about any relationship in Sonic Rush and I've played that whole game. Anyway, saying "nice smile" doesn't mean he likes her. My headcanon actually is that Sonic is aromantic/asexual which makes sense to me (at least in the main series games). Honestly… not sure. Sega really wanted in Rush for Sonaze to be canon, and in Black Knight Caliburn says “Save hugs and kisses for later”, which really suggests the love arc between the two. Crazy how now Silver X Blaze is canon. Sonic for me should be aromantic as well. 👁 Image

Honestly… really good game. But considering that you’re a classic era player, then not really sure if it’s for you. It has some classic levels, but it’s mostly boost gameplay. But if you want to see more of the Sonic cast like Silver, Shadow or Rouge (yes, these names probably don’t tell you anything, unless you know Sonic lore past classics), then it’s okay. 👁 Image

Play the original Sonic Generations which is better (the cutscenes mainly). I also don't understand how you can have nostalgia from not that long ago (2017) but I guess it's possible. Sonic Forces is one of my favorite Sonic games as well. My other favorites are Sonic the Hedgehog (original), Sonic Adventure, Sonic Advance 2, Sonic Rush, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colors (nostalgia), and Sonic Generations. I agree with you that Sonic the Hedgehog should have its own indie Wiki and I don't know why it doesn't already. Sonic Retro is sort of like that but is missing a lot and it's also not easy to navigate through it and find or search the wiki pages.
