Java version issue - Java JRE 1.6.0_22 does not work properly using the included batch file under Windows 7 Home Premium (x64) on a fresh OS install. JRE does not appear to associate itself with the command shell.

Hi, so I'll add this to the server setup page to fix this.

1. Right click Computer
2. Click properties
3. Click "Advanced system settings"
4. Click "Environment Variables"
5. Under system variables, find the Path variable
6. Click edit, and append to the end of the value: ";C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin"
7. Now re-open the command prompt and try again.

I found that you can also install the Java SDK or the x64 specific Java JRE and it will associate itself with the command shell. --Spitlebug 02:17, 17 October 2010 (CDT)
