For a while now, the Pro icon has displayed on my page, and I get an HTTPS connection, and no ads display even uBlock Origin is off. But I never purchased Pro or even provided a credit card, and somehow I have it. I have no problem with an HTTPS connection and a Pro badge, I just want to know why it says this. ----> Luke18033 (talk) 15:25, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
- According to the announcement here, they give a free Pro membership to active editors with enough contributions. -- Orthotopetalk 17:15, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
- If you make 300 wikipoints a month (probably more than that now, maybe like 400 or 500), then you get free PRO. It's an easy way to reward active editors and encourage less active editors to edit more. -Xbony2 (talk) 19:24, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
In Minecraft hardcore, once you die, there's no turning back. Death is permanent as you cannot respawn. Using the Open to LAN feature, enabling cheats and switching your gamemode to survival when spectating does not actually revive you. You are just making a new version of your game every time. And even though it would feel the same, your original hardcore world status would be gone forever. Anonymous User (talk) 10:31, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- I checked your edit history and notice that this is now the second time you've attempted to do this. Look, I totally agree that reviving yourself in hardcore pretty much defeats the point of the game mode, and I think most people would too. But the fact is that the game allows you to do it without using external tools or mods, and in the code it does in fact revive you, it doesn't "make a new version of your game" or revoke the world's hardcore status. Whether or not anyone considers that to be the "right" way to play hardcore doesn't change that. The point of the wiki is to document behavior as it exists in-game, not how it hypothetically "should" exist. - VRadExe () 21:46, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
